Hello, My name is Jenny, and welcome to my music blog! here I will talk about music, music-related books, articles, and of course records! 

A little bit about myself, I am 26 years old and a mom to a 3-year-old such an awesome kid, well way before becoming a mom I collected records I still do my first record player was given to me when I was 13 years old my mom's girlfriend gifted it to me she's such an interesting super laid back person great music taste she had a neat collection of records in her garage and I was just like what are these how do they work? she laughed and said these are records and that's a record player and she showed me how it worked and I was blown away my little mind was like "WOW" I couldn't believe this is how people listened to music back then I was so excited to have my own record player she let me choose out of her collection and I took a few a Beatles record, some oldies, and Elton john yellow brick road was my favorite I played that record over and over until it started skipping. At the time I would buy my records or CD's at Tower records that place was amazing sadly the business was bad no one cared for records and CD'S any more people were into Ipods and Limewire at the time so they closed so the only places I would buy records would be at swap meets or garage sales I still order some online here and there or go to little record stores but since records are coming back and people are getting back into them records have gotten a little pricy if only tower records were still around they'd make so much business they had reasonable prices. I love all sorts of music I am open to any genre but I can say that my heart is a big fan of classic rock and First wave I am an oldie these eras just stuck to me the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's those are the eras that I am so drawn to the music, style, and the way living was in those times very big movements in those days.
